The Buckshot Racing #77 Billet Switchbox Spacer and Bolt Kit is engineered as a direct replacement for Mercury and Mariner V6 2-stroke switchbox mounting hardware originally supplied as spacers 23-94453 and 23-94304, and screws 10-90815 and 10-13669.  These components are no longer available from Mercury, yet correct spacing remains essential for reliable ignition system installation.
 
Each kit includes two (2) CNC-machined switchbox spacers manufactured from 6061 aluminum billet, selected for its strength-to-weight efficiency and excellent corrosion resistance in marine environments. Chamfered edges eliminate burrs and ensure precise seating against the switchboxes and electrical plate. After machining, spacers are tumble-finished and hard black anodized to increase wear protection and minimize galvanic corrosion when mated with stainless fasteners.
 
To replace Mercury hardware 10-90815 and 10-13669, the kit includes two (2) stainless steel socket head bolts / screws. These provide easier access to installation vs OEM-plated hardware and allow reliable torque application with standard Allen keys, particularly valuable in confined ignition plate assemblies. The stainless construction prevents rusting and maintains a consistent clamp load during vibration and heat exposure.
 
Two (2) washers are provided for plastic CDI switchboxes to distribute the load and protect the case material. Metal Mercury and Buckshot Racing #77 switchboxes do not require extra load spread and may be installed without washers.
 
This kit is compatible with Mercury and Mariner 2-stroke V6 engines from 1976–2015 including 2.0L, 2.4L and 2.5L models: 135 HP, 150 XR2, 150 XR4, 150 XR6, XRi EFI, 175 HP, 200 HP, Black Max 225, 225 Pro Max, 245 Carb, 260 EFI, 280 ROS and 300 Drag. Maintaining precise switchbox spacing ensures correct grounding, connector strain control, and heat dissipation within the ignition assembly.
 
The Buckshot Racing #77 Billet Switchbox Spacer + Bolt Kit restores the functional intent and dimensions of discontinued Mercury parts 94453, 94304, 90815, and 13669 while improving material durability and corrosion resistance.
