The Buckshot Racing #77 Billet Carb Linkage Rebuild Kit is designed to rebuild and restore the throttle linkage on compatible Mercury WH and WMV carburetors used on 2.0L, 2.4L and 2.5L V6 two-stroke outboards.
 
Machined from 6061 aluminum and available in your choice of anodized blue or anodized red, this kit replaces several aging, discontinued, or difficult-to-find Mercury linkage components while giving the carburetor assembly a cleaner and more precise finished appearance.
 
These parts are intended for compatible Mercury Marine, Mariner, Quicksilver, and Mercury Racing V6 carbureted applications using the later horizontal-front WH or WMV linkage arrangement.

Mercury WH & WMV Applications
 
This kit is designed for compatible Mercury WH and WMV carburetor systems used on many 2.0L, 2.4L, and 2.5L V6 two-stroke outboards.
 
Typical applications include carbureted Mercury and Mariner performance engines using the correct horizontal-front intake and larger linkage cam.
 
Because many older Mercury V6 engines have been rebuilt or modified, fitment should be determined by the actual carburetor family, linkage style, cam size, and front-half configuration, not engine horsepower alone.
 
Important Fitment Notes
 
Depending on the application, these may include components associated with OEM part numbers 87604, 8M0203922, 67760, 67749, 67759, 67297, and 67748.
 
Your existing throttle roller must be reused.
 
This kit does not fit the smaller early-style cam used on many 1976–1980 carburetor systems.
 
The earlier small black cam may appear similar to the later version, but the later large cam is slightly larger and uses a different geometry.
 
This kit also does not fit vertical front-half Mercury V6 engines and will not work with the original oil-injection linkage rod.
 
These limitations are important when working with older 2.0L and 2.4L V6 powerheads where multiple carburetor and front-half configurations were used.

For best results, inspect the carburetors, shafts, bushings, roller, cam, and remaining OEM linkage parts before assembly. Worn throttle shafts or damaged carburetor components should be corrected before final synchronization.
