This Champion is our recommended outboard 2-stroke spark plug for any river or race application. It is a time-proven conventional j-gap spark plug that has a copper core center electrode for increased conductivity and heat control.  It's a resistor (inductive radio noise suppressor) plug that works with carbs or EFI / ECUs and is designed to resist corrosion.  


We've raced this plug on the tunnel boat, run it in the Parker Enduro, and ran it for long days out on the river. It is recommended for OMC/Evinrude/Johnson, Mercury Marine, Mariner, OMC, Suzuki, Volvo Penta, and Yamaha for all types of  2-stroke ignition systems including magneto and CDI.


These come pre-gapped but can be adjusted between .032 to .040 to find your optimal performance, fuel economy, durability, and reliability.
