It also replaces the fasteners used in the Mercury Racing one-piece exhaust tuner plate OEM 848284T15 and the Mercury Racing tuner pipe diffuser OEM 848308T3. Designed for assemblies exposed to high vibration and marine conditions, this kit ensures secure fastening in critical engine components.
 
Material and Construction
 
All screws in the Buckshot Racing #77 Kit are made from AISI 318 stainless steel, a molybdenum-bearing austenitic alloy with significantly better pitting and crevice corrosion resistance than 304 or 316 stainless steels. This alloy retains strength in high-heat environments and offers excellent protection in chloride-rich saltwater.
 
The stainless steel lock washers are manufactured to the exact OEM dimensions of Mercury 822714, ensuring proper fit and consistent preload.
