This page provides Brucato ACU fuel curve files for reflashing your own Brucato ACU on Mercury/Mariner EFI and Hi Performance 2.5 outboards from 1988 to 2001.
All files are compatible with both grey cast housing and black billet housing Brucato ACU and PCU units.
To use these fuel curves, you must have:
- A properly installed Brucato ACU or PCU unit
- The plug-and-play USB tool (includes software and interface cable)
- A Windows laptop with Microsoft Excel (macros enabled)

How to Load a Brucato ACU Fuel Curve
- Download the desired fuel curve file to your Windows laptop.
- Connect the plug-and-play USB tool (interface cable) between your computer and the Brucato ACU.
- Power the ACU using the 12-volt adapter or the boat’s wiring harness.
- Open the management software in Microsoft Excel, enable macros, and use the Calibration tab to transmit the new fuel curve.

How to Use the Brucato Fuel Curve Generator
- The Fuel Curve Generator for FCR-4 file lets you create or modify fuel maps.
- Open the spreadsheet in Excel.
- Adjust values in the 24 RPM columns and 16 load rows (add or subtract 1 for ~1% fuel change).
- Save your changes, then load the updated map into your ACU using the steps above.
Technical Notes
- All files are provided in .xlsx format.
- After loading a fuel curve, always verify TPS adjustment and monitor spark plug color.
- Use resistor spark plugs only.
