Mercury Parker Oil Dyne Style Trim Tilt Lift Pumps are a critical component in the hydraulic trim and tilt system of Mercury outboard engines and MerCruiser sterndrives (92459). These pumps allow operators to fine-tune engine angle relative to the transom—optimizing acceleration, top-end speed, handling, and fuel efficiency under changing load and water conditions.
The tuning of trim tilt lift pumps for outboard performance has been shaped by decades of marine engineering and real-world testing. Early trim pump systems offered basic hydraulic adjustment, but later designs focus on delivering faster actuation, higher reliability, and simplified maintenance.
Today’s 92459 A4 style pumps are built to withstand the demands of both casual boating and racing conditions, offering consistent hydraulic pressure and responsiveness even under heavy loads. This evolution ensures that operators experience trim response, improved durability, and maximum efficiency, whether they are pushing for top speed offshore or cruising inland waters.
Our Hi-Flow Race Tilt Pump Units are engineered for race-level demands, providing maximum hydraulic output and rapid trim response. Each pump is assembled and tested with your choice of a 3-wire motor for Standard Arco Style Solenoids, our Buckshot Racing #77 Silver 300AMP Solenoids, or our 500AMP Full Race Relays.
Industry Standard Trim Tilt Pump Motor (SAE J1171 compliant)
Metal Head Race & Offshore Motor with powder-coated steel body and aluminum end frames
The Metal Head Race & Offshore Pump sets itself apart with a design built for punishing offshore environments. Unlike industry-standard pumps that rely on fragile mounting “ears,” the Metal Head model bolts directly to the pump base body.
This direct-bolt construction creates a stronger structural connection, reducing flex and minimizing the risk of component failure during high-vibration conditions. Combined with a powder-coated steel housing and aluminum end frames, the pump maintains strength without excessive weight.
Operators can pair the Metal Head with either a steel or composite plastic reservoir, tailoring the setup to meet performance needs. This race-proven design delivers greater durability, longer service life, and consistent hydraulic output in the most demanding marine racing conditions.
Our Metal Head Race & Offshore Motor offers a lighter & stronger build:
Industry Standard Trim Pump Motor: 6 lbs 5 oz
Metal Head Race Motor: 4 lbs 12 oz

All custom pumps are equipped with our High-Performance Brass, Screened, 1/2 ORB (leak-proof), SAE fittings.
The SAE #3 fits the factory Mercury 12" and 15" Short Ram mid-section hydraulic lines.
The SAE #4 inverted flair fittings are more typical on the Mercury Single Long Ram Trim Cylinder.
Our motors have a steel laminated core, copper windings, and a copper-segment commutator that are all built and tested to withstand 50x operating voltage at five load levels, to better handle faster trim set-ups, including 12, 24, and 36 volt systems.
The unit is finished with a durable epoxy powder coated for all marine corrosion protection and case-hardened motor shafts at bearing surfaces for maximum wear resistance.
Includes one (1) Custom Hi-Flow Trim Tilt Pump Unit. Allow 2-5 Days build & test time.
Vibration-resistant Aluminum Mounting Plates, Mercury-style Solenoids, ARCO Solenoids, 300AMP Silver Contact Solenoids, 500AMP Kilovac-style Race Relays, and Pump Rigging Services are also available on our website.
The mounting plate measurements are approximately 6" tall x 8 1/4" wide x 1/4" thick. The mounting grommets accept 1/4", 5/16", or 3/8" bolts to secure the pump to a bulkhead.
High-performance valve adjustments can be done upon request. All pumps are assembled and tested here in the USA and come with a one-year warranty.
