The Mercury Switchbox 338-7778 is a critical component in the ignition system of many Mercury outboards. It controls the distribution of electrical signals to the ignition coils, ensuring proper spark timing for smooth engine operation. Faulty switchboxes can cause misfires, poor engine performance, or complete engine failure.
Our new Buckshot Racing #77 aftermarket SwitchBoxes fit all 1976 to 1999 V6 2-Stroke Outboards; 2.5, 2.4, and 2.0 Liters. These spec'ed to be very similar to the Mercury OEM A13 boxes (not A14).
Replaces OEM 332-7778 A13 as well as 114-7778, F749301, F7778A9, 18-5775, 5524-A1, 7778-A1, 7778-A3, 7778-A6, 7778-A7, 7778-A12, and 7778-A13. These also fit Mercury Mariner 3-cyl, 65-90 HP 2-stroke outboards.
Includes brand new 360 brass US SAE nuts and ground straps w/ threaded set screws are included. Unlike other manufacturers, these include a 3-month, no-hassle, one-time, replacement warranty.
