Includes 9 total adaptors to tackle most all 1994–2025 Mercury Marine or Mercury Racing outboards. From 2-stroke carbureted and EFI models up to 225 HP in the ’90s to DFI OptiMax engines (1998–2018) in 75–300 HP ranges, Mercury evolved fast. 4-stroke outboards grew from small EFI/carbureted units to mid/high-HP powerhouses. The Verado line (2004–present) added supercharged L4, L6, V8, V10, and V12 options from 135–600 HP. SeaPro delivered durable commercial-grade engines. Mercury Racing brought 2-stroke EFI, OptiMax XS, 4-stroke R-Series (250R–450R), and APX (200, 360) for race use. Recreational, commercial, or racing—this tool handles most all Mercury Outboards besides a few smaller motors.
The TechMate Pro DDT is designed to deliver all the diagnostic tests and functions described here, keeping in mind that not all functions apply to every motor, as some engines lack the sensors or components required to support certain tests.
However, where and if the capability exists within the engine, the TechMate Pro DDT will fully diagnose, test, and reset as described, ensuring maximum utility across a broad range of models.
